On February 5th, the chairperson of BCA Wang Changlian visited the “National Day Girl” Li Caixia and sent 50000 Yuan to her.
Li Caixia was 26 years old and she was the postgraduate student of Business Administration College of China University of Petroleum. She has been suffered from acute lymphocyte leukemia. In the summer of 2009, she participated the parade training for National Day. She was the only one who was in grade two of postgraduate student of the university. But on August 14th, she began to get fever and she was in hospital on August 26th.
Li Caixia’s parents were over 70 years old. Their income was 10000 Yuan each year. Now, Li Caixia is receiving chemotherapy in North Hospital and waiting for bone marrow transplant. Although, her relatives, teachers and classmates help her, she still can’t afford the medical fees. After learning her situation, BCA established special account for her in order to receive the donated fund and sent 50000 Yuan to her.
In February, BCA relieved Du Jinsheng, who lived in Minyun County Xigezhuang Town Xishan Village Du Jinsheng. There are 5 people in his family. His wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law were retarded and disable. On January 27th, he was fracture seriously because of cutting firewood. The treatment fees were 40000 Yuan. He got the social relief 8600 Yuan and Minyun County Charity Association relieved him 5000 Yuan. But he still couldn’t afford the fees. So he applied the relief from BCA. At last, BCA decided to relieve him 10000 Yuan.
Approaching to Spring Festival, BCA continued to carry out “Spring Rain Activity” to send the relief fund to people who suffered from serious disease. Close by February, BCA has invested 15.88 million Yuan to relieve more than 4100 peoples.
